A Lister and Company Was Founded In Year 1867 In England In a Place Called Dursley .They Earier Made Agricultural Products And In The 1920's They Made Lister CS [ Slow Speed Diesel Engines ] This Was in 1929 .they Made Many Models of This Engine And sold a Lot of These World Over .Many of These Were Also In India when The British Were ruling Over the Same .In 1947 After Post Indian Independence Many Many Lister Engines Were operating in india and There Was suddenly a Great Need For Spares for the Same .Some Enterprising People in The state Of Gujrat started Importing the Same And Giving To the People who Wanted spares .Some Of The Businessmen started To Make These spare Parts In That states and Finally There Was No Need To import the Same .Slowly and Slowly Entire Lister Type Clone Called a Listeroid Started Being Developed In The State Of Gujrat .Finally Rajkot Became a Grand Daddy For All Lister Type Clone Manufacturing  .In 1987 Lister in England Stopped Making Lister Engines Of Slow Speed And Finally We Have India And Some Places in Pakistan Having Units of Making Lister Type Clone Slow Speed Engines .Have A look At Some Of The Clone Lister engines Sold in India .
